IZO-Form s.r.o. is engaged in the production of quality moulds for the preparation of transport boxes made of EPP and EPS. The transport boxes are then used for transporting goods and parts mainly in the automotive industry. Our work includes not only the design and production of moulds, but also the production of our own transport boxes made of EPS.
Production of moulds for EPS transport boxes
The production of a block mould for the production of EPS shipping boxes always starts with a computer. According to the customer's requirements and documentation, we first design the mould in the form of a 3D CAD model. We then send the model to the customer for comments and approval.
With a mould in the form of a 3D model, it is easiest and cheapest to make any interventions. Once the customer approves the 3D model of the EPS mould, the CNC programming and production of the individual parts and subsequent assembly of the mould follows.
It is also advisable to make a prototype of the EPS shipping box and try to deploy it in the production process. The customer can then be absolutely sure that the EPS mould will prove itself in logistics.

Expanded polystyrene (EPS) is an integral part of our everyday lives. It is a very lightweight material. It consists of 98% air. It absorbs shock very well, is almost non-absorbent and 100% recyclable.
EPS shipping boxes are affordable and very reliable. They have been successfully used for many years in a wide range of applications in various industrial sectors such as the automotive industry.
EPS boxes for the transport of automotive parts
Other advantages of EPS boxes for transporting automotive parts, for example, include their excellent thermal and acoustic insulation properties. EPS is resistant to compression, they are lightweight - 98% air, strong and durable. Their light weight makes them easy to handle. They are hygienically completely safe.
The production of EPS boxes is carried out in such a way that the polystyrene is foamed directly in the mould, which moulds it into the desired shape.
